Done in an espresso (also called cappuccino) finish these end tables are made of mostly hardwood. They are great for placing reading lamps nick-knacks and decorations on. Great to stick the tv guide on when you use it as a chair side table. Some people like to place these in the entry way and use the bottom for backpacks and the top for keys and mail. The table is made out of press-board (chip board) not wood. That said it is very sturdy. When my table arrived it was damaged in transit. by Gilliauna
